Using the perfect balance of space planning, great design, scale, texture, function, correct paint colors and Feng-Shui principles is what Lara does best.
She also believes that interior design does not need to be expensive.
Often times, using client's existing furnishings in new and creative ways
can transform most spaces. And if new pieces are needed, Lara prides
herself in selecting affordable and appropriate pieces that look fabulous!
Lara holds a BS degree in Organizational Behavior from the University
of San Francisco as well as an AA degree in Interior Design from Cañada College. She is a trained professional with IRIS (Interior Redesign Industry Specialists) and SDP (Society of Decorating Professionals) that is often featured on HGTV and Oprah. Lara is an allied member of ASID, and
active in e-Women Network, DesignNet, Los Altos Chamber of
Commerce and the Los Altos History Museum.
Many of her design inspirations come from her love of travel, stemming from her first career as an airline executive. Her love of diversity, culture and art history make each one of her interiors one of a kind, tailored
to each client’s preference.
Lara has built a dynamic business from repeat customers and referrals; and lives in the community of Los Altos, CA with her family.
